I use a deep purple/eggplant shade, applied in a pretty normal way of doing a smoky eye and I add a little shimmer white just under the brow to contrast and add a glowing effect.

I use the dark purple mixed with black on the outsides of my eyelids, and the silvery green on the insides. It looks LOVELY.

It depends on my mood...I tend to blend all sorts of colors for nice effects. I purchased an eyeshadow kit with over 90 colors. It's fun. I'm currently wearing red and silver.

I like black on the upper lid and then I also lightly apply some grey to my under eye area and the place in the socket near the bridge of the nose to give them a sunken look

black, shimmery white, shades of grey, various shades of purple, shimmery green, red, shimmery midnight blue, etc.
I should try silver... not sure why I never thought of that.

I wear grey or black.
But I want to get a kind of purpley/pink bruised colour.
For sunken looking eyes.

I like to have lots of options, luckily just about anything looks fine with my eyes and skin tone so I have room to play around

Hot pink, red, purple, green, blue, orange, neon and all accented with black. I don't like alot of black just enough to make it darker looking.

I like purple, red, black, metallic dark green, metallic copper, metallic bronze, dark grey, pale silver. I also use clear glitter.
I always apply my eyeshadow before eyeliner in order to make sure the eyeliner really stands out from the colour.

Purple, dark blue, pink, teal, black, red, green, dark silver, metallic or glittery versions of all of the previous, and a lot of the time I wear many of those colors all at once.

I usually wear blacks, browns or shades of blue on a daily basis. But I never really limit myself to any one colour, and amuse myself with blending many colours for interesting results. I rarely wear less than four different eyeshadows; and if you count those eyeshadows that I've used for other purposes (f.i. instead of rouge or as cheek highlights) that number will be considerably greater.

I don't normally wear eyeshadow but as I have grey eyes I'd LOVE to have some red eyeshadow (but I can't find red in shops, damn...) Anyway I bought some black eyeshadow today. I doubt that I'll ever wear it though.
Buying makeup is kind of difficult for me as I refuse to buy products from companies that test on animals and other companies don't always have what I want.
