Angel rocks.
Buffy didn't even destroy her final enemy, it was Spike, who was with Angel in their final battle, much more apocalyptic than Buffy's.

Definately Creepy from "Growing Up Creepy" on Kids Discovery Channel.

Yes I watch it. Sam from "Danny Phantom" is my cartoon idol. The voice of reason in a group full of testosterone driven males . . . tee hee.

I love the goths in South Park.

Goth kid- you just don't know what real pain is, you conformist.
Kyle- and you do? Try living in a Third World country, you lil' pussy!
Goth kid- I'm not gonna go live in a Third World country, with all the conformists.

But you're not really like that, are you? No? Ahhhh. Shame. Would have been funnier.

Oh, they were joke goths, not supposed to represent "real" goths. But it's still funny. Those guys just take the piss out of everyone and everything, including gay people, even though one of them is gay. I mean, if Helen Keller's not safe, no-one is.

This is an old thread, but I can't believe no one mentioned the "Venture Bros,"....Triana Orpheus is pretty gothy, and her father, Dr. Orpheus, even mentioned her going to an "electronic music show, coming home smelling like cloves."

Funny how goth isn't what it used to be. That's really pretty much right.

Not to mention her cybergoth friend Kim, with rope for hair and a shiny costume topped off with goggles.

Nobody mentioned Atrocia (red beehive-haired horror hostess in the style of Elvira) or Malaria (goth chick who was briefly the woman of Grim's dreams) from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy! (Grim or Gregory, Grim in Love)

I prefer Angel too, though Buffy's still great. Do you like Firefly?

I LOVE Firefly. I don't like very many scifi shows...mainly just Firefly and Battlestar Galactica.

I always liked Buffy better than Angel. The Lorne character on Angel always bugged me...he was so stupid and cheesey looking. I know that was probably the point, but anyways...

A while back, I found boxer shorts with the Southpark goth kids on them, I bought a pair for me to wear around the house. My husband thought they were hilarious.

Firefly, given the chance to mature, would've blown Angel and Buffy out of the water and been Whedon's crowning achievement. Of course, FOX are assholes.

Dollhouse should be great though.

I'm surprised that with this divergence from cartoondom that Helena Bonham Carter hasn't been mentioned. However...

If anyone is familiar with Edgar and Ellen Poo of nickelodeon fame, I find those two to be very obviously Gothic characters. I've never read the children's books, so I wouldn't be able to tell you of anything of how true to form the show is. It's still funny, I think.

Heh nice. One of them does have Bauhaus and Skinny Puppy posters on their wall.

This is probably the best clip of them

Anyone watch Growing Up Creepy? That right there is a pretty goth cartoon...for kids even.

I caught it while flipping through the kids channels the other day for my boy. I was impressed.
