That's just awful to hear, all of this. I live in Holland where you can pretty much wear anything you want, everywhere. It is frowned upon, by ignorant, or just plain stupid people and some of the rich kids that are proud of their family's achievements and are very pleased with themselves, make fun of you or even threaten you, but they're all wimps, so that's okay. This one guy came up to me and asked me suggestively "are you... DOOOWWWNN?" so I said "yes, and you're in my way" and he was off. Sometimes police, or other authorities, give you a more thorough look than other people, but that's it. There's no way anyone can tell you what to wear and what not to wear anywhere in this country (except maybe for the far south and the far north, because they're all small communities which are not used to the big bad outside world.)

in my school its uniform, no jewelry,its cathloic soo u kno wa kinda things we had 2 do,i mean the chain for ur wallet had to be a certain size and other crap like that the onli gud thing bout the skool is that u cud wear black shoes i didnt want white it shows a sign of weakness

My school has done absolutley nothing. We dont have uniforms, we can wear nail polish, eyeliner, and anything like that. The only thing we cant do is wear fishnet stuff.

my school tells us we cant have unnatural hair colors, any kind of spikes or sharp jewelry, and they can tell us not to do something if it causes a "distraction"......like that stops me...

My 2nd period teacher would give me crap about the shirts I'm wearing. She always have something to say about my shirts. I wore my Murderdolls People Hate Me t-shirt and my teacher flipped out. My school has a rule where you can't wear any baggy pants that cover your feet. I don't listen and I wear my pants anyways cause I don't care what other people think of how I wear and stuff.

It took alot of my own personal time and efforts to even have my teachers listen to me after I started dressing goth. i had to work my fucking ass off to remove that stigma for myself and future goths going to my school.

when i was in high school (catholic one) we had uniforms and shit...no make-up, no jewelry and you hair had to be it's NATURAL color....
well i basically said fuck no make-up, wore my pentacle with pride, and had my hair a different color almost every week
now i'm in a college that loves goths =^.^=
