Book I should read

I'm in need of some good gothic books
I've read Frankenstein and Dracula but that's about it for gothic horror/fiction
I like supernatural and hate drama that relies on romance.

Try Stephen King or John Saul. They have lots of horror/suspense titles, free of romantic drama. Not sure they're considered "gothic" tho.

If you can find them, I suggest anything by Robert R. McCammon. He wrote a good vampire novel called They Thirst, an interesting werewolf book called The Wolf's Hour and my favorite of his, an epic post apocalypse drama called Swan Song. His other books are good, but those 3 are my favorite.

Like King or Saul, he probably wouldn't be considered 'gothic' though.
