Congrats Saya - and if you had any Disorder, I'd say it was a knitting disorder (teehee)

Miss Kitty is that a motorbike or a pushbike/bicycle?

I had a guy friend read my book and he thought it was pretty good.. And he liked the ending which is all Kung POW!!

Ha! I wouldn't say thats exclusively a Southerner thing, though. Seems like every winter we go through that cycle. Just takes a bit longer so we can feel smug for resisting as long as we do.

The thunderstorm that stopped over at my house for an impromptu party.

I found out the house does shake, rattle, but does not roll anywhere.

We were discussing colonial feminism today in school, and examining a speech by Laura Bush about the Afghanistan invasion, and we all tried our best to be objective and just critique it point by point, but towards the end a girl just freaked out. "Its ignorant! Its stupid! She's an idiot! AAARGH!"

I don't think the prof was pleased, but it was kinda fantastic. Its really what we all wanted to say from the start.

Bawled my eyes out too. I feel much more at peace now.

Going to the hairdresser, making oatmeal cookies without dairy, and moving a really heavy dining table without my back hurtin'.

And losing 4kg this week.. that was good.

Mountain Bike. TREK Single Track 820 to be exact. Haven't done any upgrades yet but might do so in the spring or summer, depending on how bad the trail addiction hits.

Going back after a 7 year break is going to be unreal.
