I'm Enjoying the Silence

Me and a friend of mine are covering one of my favorite songs: Enjoy the Silence, by Depeche Mode.

My friend is doing the vocals but we have not yet recorded them, and I have a bit of mixing to do, but I want some feedback on the backing track that I've created:

if you take the time to download (and listen) tell me what you think! I need some feedback

I like what you guys have so far!
Interested to hear the vox for it. What sort of singing style does your friend have?
This is one of my favorite songs as well
Hopefully I will get the chance to come back to it tonight and give some better feedback.

He used to be really big into nirvana, but he's changed to a more mellow smooth style of singing.

I do believe he will be able to pull it off. (after a few takes anywho)

I liked it. Too mellow for a mosh pit though, but still good. Maybe give it a pinch of Prodigy style hyperactivity, but then that is just my personal taste.

Rock on dude.

We've done it, the vocal track is in and mixed as well as I can with the equipment on hand at the moment. This is my first time messing and mixing vocals so they aren't the best, so bare with it please haha.
