Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Long to about the middle of my shoulder-blades. Gonna be black as I bought the dye. I miss my rainbow hair from 2 years ago.

My hair is down my back about half-way, half way down it being jet black, the other half being my natural hair color, strawberry blonde. I also tend to wear a black wig that reaches my bottom and has vangs. >

Is this the current skin style or current hairstyles thread?

Mine is a growing-out pixie cut, I clip my bangs down with bobby pins to give it more of a style and stick the back out with gel. Currently it's my natural color, brown, but I'm planning to add purple or red streaks ASAP.

It's a brown, fluffy fiasco.
I'm at that awesome point where something needs to be done, but I'm massively concerned about going in anywhere and having some moron destroy several months of looking like an idiot.

Same. I went from cute pixie to that almost mullet stage where everything sticks out in ways I do not wish it to, but the walk in place is crap and I don't want two weeks of even worse hair.

Shaved all around the sides and back, with a 4" by 3" patch on top of my head.
It's kind of a "mauve" color right now... laid Wildfire Red over Atomic Turquoise and was pleasantly surprised.

Mine is almost at the point where it could make an acceptable bob, I think I'll actually have a real hairstyle after my next trip to the salon, once I can actually afford to go to the salon.

I shaved mine in June - I was trying to do a #2, but the guide fell off the shaver part way through and I ended up with one strip of #0, so I had to go back and buzz the rest of it... the moral of the story, if you are going to shave your head, have someone do it for you.
Anyways, I haven't cut it since then because I'm trying to grow it out again. It is all now about 4 inches long from scalp to tip and just sticks out all over the place. There literally isn't anything that I can do with it at this length - it is like having a giant fluffy afro.
Thank the gods that I have no sense of style or fashion or it would probably annoy me.

A pixie cut, shorter on one side than the other with my bangs cut with "jagged" ends, angling down, making the right side longer than the left side. The right covers most of my eye but I can brush it to the side. The rest is pretty short, I use gel to spike the back and sometimes the top too. It's lighter purple in the front and darker in the back, but I'm thinking of trying another colour. I'm just not sure which one.
After years of getting cuts I wasn't happy with, I decided to draw the hairdresser a picture of what I wanted. I'm pretty bad at cutting it myself, but I would have had it been wrong yet again.

I got my hair redone recently. It's dyed black, and goes down to my chest. I have pointy, v-shaped bangs, and I curl my hair. I really like it this way, it goes really well with my Victorian-esque clothes.

Something I've been calling "The Golden Fro of Truth". Little gel to make it curly, and blonde.

I now have a caramel bob (with about a 1/4 inch of blond on the tips). I'm still trying to grow it out a bit, I'd like it to hit my shoulders, but it does looks cute when I actually take the time to style it.

After years of having red hair I decided to dye it black and I think it suits me much better. Right now I am in the process of growing my pixie cut out. Im hopeing it grows long enough to shave into a death hawk for my graduation in May but I am not entirely sure if it will. At the moment it's a bit shaggy in the back and I comb my bamgs to swoop to the side so they dont get in my eyes.
(There seems to be a number of people growing out pixies. I find this amusing. What made you to decide to cut it short in the first place?)

my hair is naturally dark brown, and reaches half way down my back. My bangs have grown out, so they are now about chin length. Just dyed it with Loreal Paris #56, supposedly a "spicy auburn brown", but it is definitely red, just a darker red. It was more red than I was expecting, but then this is the first time I have dyed my hair, so it may just be that it stands out more to me.
