Let the Right One In is a must see vampire movie, it's sweedish so you'll have to bare with the dubbing or subtitles. However they are remaking it with american actors I have little hope for the remake..

Right? Wish I'd known about the book beforehand, but I'm going to pick it up next library visit.

I saw Jacob's Ladder the other day, seriously good shit. If you're a Silent Hill fan you can see how much influence this movie had on the games.

No one has mentioned one of the greatest movies of all time:
V for Vendetta

(Bad Guy)"Why don't you die?!"

(V)"...behind this mask is an idea...
and ideas are bulletproof.

Forgot if I mentioned this or not, but I just saw this Japanese (?) movie called The Audition that I thought was really good.

I was recently introduced to the 1928 silent film The Man Who Laughs, starring Conrad Veidt and Mary Philbin. It's a fascinating movie about a traveling performer whose face was disfigured by Gypsy surgeons when he was a child so that his mouth is fixed in a permenant jester's smile.

Highly reccomended.
