please insert original title here

Hi,

my name is Tarek and I just joined this side. English is not my first language so please let me excuse for all the mistakes I will torment you with in advace, I'll try to avoid them to the best of my abilities. For the start I'll just try to answer the questions posted in the guidlines for this forum.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am studying at a university, my major are history and politics

2. Where are you from?
Bavaria (feel free to mock our Lederhosen, they deserve it)

3. Who is your favorite author?
Too many for a simply answer, I read about 4 books a week, mostlry written by authors who died several centuries ago.

4. What are your favorite films?

I learned English by watching Kevin Smith movies, South Park & reading Shakespeare. Though in the last years I have started to collect old classics like 12 Angry Men.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?

No marriage for me, somehow every girlfriend I had so far wanted me dead at one point. If I want to live for a few more years I guess I have to stay single.

6. At your funeral?

Something that would annoy the audience. If I have to die, I want at least to mess with them on last time.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?

In a way that leaves most of the body intact so my organs can be donated.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

None, if you have everything useable salvaged, burn the rest.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

I wear simply black shirts with black pants. Nothing on them whatssoever.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

Girls did not try to kill me

11. What's your favorite band?

Blind Guardian

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

I am studying History, might end up as a teacher one day.

13. Why did you join?

Had to take a break from university due health problems and won't be able to return till falls. Further I can go out much fopr the same reason, so I am stuck home during the sommer without much to do. To kill time I have started writing and am looking simply people to chat and talk with online. (Concerning writing, might there here anyone whom I could bombard with questions about the day to day life in the U.S. of teenagers and high school etc? I don't want to base my story on want I learned by watching breakfast club)

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

Male

Thanks, uhm yeah pretty much. I failed each year in English regardless how hard I tried. At one point I just stopped learning (when I was around 14-15 I guess) and started to use the time instead surfing the internet and using it to watch south park on english.

South Park & reading Shakespeare! Haha! And your answer to number 10 was funny. And I think you are the first one who said they want to donate their organs, bravo!

Welcome!

But..thats all true.

My first girlfriend started to believe she was a vampire and wanted to drink my blood...all of it. (I left her after this..if running away scared counts as leaving someone. And I got a waterpistol filled with holy water). My second girlfriend threated to kill me because I made fun of her favourite TV-Show (thats how I met in the first place), and my last girlfriend tried to ..recreate my face with a glass bottle the last time I saw her.

Yep, and I've been to Cumbria one time, but only spent a night in a hotel sleeping and did not see anything. Though I have been several times to london and Ireland (and one time in North Ireland..but that was not that much of a great idea).

Welcome to the boards!

Why did your girlfriends try to kill you? And your english is impressive if you learned most of it from South Park.

Enjoy your stay.

You mean the last one?

Sadly this again is no joke, she attacked me because I refused(!!) to hit her. Now I have some scars on my upper left arm near the shoulder, due my attempt to block her attack.

I started with South Park but also traveld alot to England and Ireland when I was more healthy.
