Woot I am no longer in New England (not that I dislike New England but I can only take so much of that side of the family) so I should be on more frequently...although the wireless at home is still not working so I can really only get on for any stretch of time when Erik and my mother are doing something else (at the moment playing a game of phase 10 with Erik's friend JP and JP's family that has lasted about 4 hours with no end in sight)

My 15 year old niece loves Christian Death!!! She is so awesome.
She went to the H.I.M. concert last month, but she also loves Siouxsie and a lot of other classic Goth. She rules.

I just bought this book on the history of post-punk. Kick ass. It's called "Ript it up and Start Again: Postpunk 1978-1984" in case anyone wants to know.

I hate the word "flake." It makes me think of dandruff.

Ah. It's a chocolate bar over here. But thankfully it does not look anything like dandruff.

Just back from Belfast, where I've been drinking since about 3pm yesterday.
There are still plenty of spookykids, but none of them seem to graduate to goth.
Some twat gave all the beggars off-key accordions to play. Grr.
All the people I hang around with over here are exactly the same, as are the places we go, as are our alcohol preferences.

And I got a copy of Garth Ennis's "The Boys" (he's Northern Irish and a 2000AD writer, so his stuff's pretty vicious and cynical and evil and funny), David Bowie's "Heroes", and the Birthday Party's "Junk Yard" as well as some clothes from Primark. Another new pair of tight black jeans.

Honeythorn you would be proud. I got a 10 gallon fishtank with a heater and everything. My babies are getting much more well taken care of.

Fantastic

Just don't add any other fish to that tank. AT ALL. Ten gallons is the absolute smallest you can go with even the smallest fish ( and small fish almost invariably need to be in groups of 6 or more, and thus need far more swimming space ). and that isn't as much water as you might think. Just remember, the smaller the tank the harder it is to keep stable in terms of water conditions. Please don't forget to get a liquid test kit ( they look much like a simple chemistry set ), so you can keep an eye on your ammonia, nitrite, nitrates and Ph.

Good luck with it

Right now I got 6 fish in there right now. The guy at the fish store said I could have 12.

I don't know......I'm beginning to think this guy is kind of sketchy. But thank you so much for your advice honeythorn, it'll help me keep my fish happy and healthy.

Okay, I did NOT like NYC.
1. Too many tourists.
2. My mom is not fun to travel with.
3. I only got to go to one of my stores, and it was pretty much Tripp pants and Ramones shirts. YUCK!
4. I was dragged around while sick.
5.TOO MANY TOURISTS. I can't handle a lot of people.

On another note, while I was on the train back home, I have decided that Meth is most definitely the bastard son of Andrew Eldritch.

Aww, poor Korinna!
London gets packed with tourists as well sometimes. Horrible things, with their cameras and umbrellas and randomly stopping in gangs of six in the middle of the pavement, forcing you to walk on the road or push through them to get past.

And yes, he probably is, isn't he?
