Shill Post your website announcements here. Anything that is blatantly SPAM (nigerian schemes, make money fast, etc) will be deleted. Actually, we'd probably keep the nigerian schemes around to make fun of it. |

Hey, some pretty nice stuff!
I've been trying the manga thing for years, but have not been very successful at it.

Manga should be inappropriate!
Half-naked manga tends to be quite nice
And L'Oiseau Noir, I liked what I saw, so I'm now "watching" you (how creepy does that sound?)

It is very well done, thumbs up for it.
I can never master manga art, in fact I can never really master any form art. I prefare to manipulate photos etc, no skill involved really.

Blackbird, those pictures are nice, but...
...I am guessing they are computer made? Personally I prefer the ones that are drawn by hand. Or if you want to get rid of the pixels, you could try some nice program.

All my art starts from being drawn by hand but I then put it on the computer to make it higher quality.

Got a DA, but not linking it till it's updated.
Gods, the stuff on there is *old*- it's gone over two years without update!
Very nice colouring skills, Dragon- Colour is something that tends to offend and confuse me when I have to deal with it myself.
And L'Oiseau, I love the stuff you manage straight from the mouse. I'm still arguing with my graphics tablet, certainly not up to drawing with a mouse! (Of course, my tablet is a BambooOne, the cheapest and nastiest thing on the market. I miss my dead old graphire.)

You're definitely on my DA watch list now.
Superb work. Some of the best manga style art I've seen in a while.

Wow! That got off track--oh well, it's cool. xD
Thanks to those who added me to their watch. I'm sorry the pictures up there aren't that great; I'll be posting some really awesome stuff in the future that looks a thousand times better than what I have up there already, so keep an eye peeled.

L'Oiseau Noir, your stuff is also great. I'd give anything just to be able to draw a decent manga character, since I'm quite an Otaku.

I hate being called an otaku.
In Japan it's a derogatory comment that someone calls another whose life is completely consumed by anime and manga (damn those evil mangakas, plotting to raise an army and unleash hell).
I'm talking about the uber fanboys who deck themselves out in anime gear, talk about how they'd want to bang Rei Ayanami if they could, and have their walls covered in anime/manga paraphernalia. Oh, and have shelves upon shelves of collectable figurines.
I just refer to myself as an aninerd, it's much nicer.

Don't worry, I'm a pretty big fangirl, too.
God, I can't even count how many animes I've seen... I lost track around the hundreth series I'd watched. And, honestly, it's my dream to go to Otakon one year and bask in the gloriousness of anime.

Heck, I was hooked to anime when I saw Star Blazers for the first time in 1985. I have never looked back since.

My starting point was when I watched "Silent Mobius."
Man, I love that anime with a passion--it's like Blade Runner, if you've ever seen that movie.

I have to agree with the 'Blade Runner' association. Silent Mobius was extremely entertaining too.
