Alright, now I'm printing tabs up for "My War" by Black Flag. I still suck at guitar though! Woot!

^ Welcome back!
PS - what dye do you use to get your hair all nice and purply? I used Viva plum a week ago and it's already fading

Thanks Nevan!
Actually, I have no clue what dye was used! A close friend of mine dyed my hair for the photo shoot, and I gotta say it stayed in for a seriously long time. I'll find out from her.

It has snowed. I am now housebound.
No city for me, no catching up with people over hot chocolate in nice little cafes then raiding vintage clothing stores for new stuff....
damn it. Half a foot of snow and the country comes to standstill. There's more snow to come, too.

I got pictures of the snow!
Just need my mother (whose camera I borrowed) to upload the images to her computer, as she has the driver software and I don't, and send them on to me.
I shall show you the snow we have had inflicted upon us. Brrr.

I've never seen snow in real life
It's probably stupid but one of my desires is to have a snowball fight.

The only time I ever saw real snow is when I was 5 years old and it snowed in our hometown. The problem was, I had the flu and wasn't even allowed to go outside and inspect it close up.
*sigh*

It's cold, it's very wet when it defrosts, and the presence of traffic or pollution turns it into ugly nasty slush. It's a bastard to drive in, it conceals sudden dips by drifting (this applies to walking as well), it messes up visibility, and it almost never arrives on Christmas day, which may be the only day you'd actually want it.
Of course, I have a very unromantic view of these things.
I like looking out from my room into a world of black and white, winter-dead trees shrouded in a soft white veil... but as soon as I have to go out in it or interact with it, any pretense of appreciation is gone.
Snow is cold, wet, and impractical. You're not missing much.

Hmm, I'd still like to have a snowball fight though.

I dislike snow, but it gets me out of school. Alas, we have yet to get a snow day.

Heck, the last few days we've had temperatures in the 30C' range over here. Way too hot!
