Innocent Fresh Meat

Hey there. My name's Ashleigh, and though I'm not new to the internet, I discovered this site just today.

I'm a commissioned graphite portrait artist, and I play flute. I have a severe thirst for knowledge, and am quite a bookworm.

I'm from the United States, southern Washington to be more specific.
My favorite authors are: David Baldacci, David Eddings, Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, George Orwell, and Orson Scott Card.

My two favorite films are Casablanca and V for Vendetta.

As for the music for my wedding and funeral, I haven't yet decided. It would have to include violins and pianos.

I'd want to die of old age, having lived a full life. Casket? Maybe I'll be cremated. Put me in an urn.

My favorite outfit is a simple black empire-cut dress with black flats.

I miss the innocence and imagination of childhood.

I don't have a favorite band, I just enjoy different styles of music in general.

I have a partial high school education, and, through a special program, am working for my AA.

I joined because I love the style and culture, and am very curious about it overall.

I am female :]

So, that's me, and all thirteen of the standard questions.

I can't say I agree with your taste in music, but I extend a very warm welcome to you nonetheless. Welcome to our little dysfunctional family!

I didn't think so. Then again, I haven't experienced with different kinds of music past what I was raised with, which I've been trying to do more as of recently.
Thank you for the warm welcome :]

How sweet! It does make a soul feel comfortable.
By the way, I am open to any influence, suggestions, or "go here and check this out!"
That's part of the reason I decided to check out this site, and chat community.

Try something by Emilie AUtumn, like Shallot or Dead is the new Alive.

I think I should have politely declined putting any music into my post in general.
I'm not a close-minded person, so I'll say again, any influence or suggestion is quite welcome.

Gah, I forgot to mention welcome; I was in a bit of a rush...

Welcome Ashleigh to our lair of social inequities and rag-tag troll fighters. I rarely post here but you seemed quite intelligent and interesting. Some people here are music extremists so music is a fairly big topic so you were right to state the type of music you like and hold your head high. Expect a couple of occasional reccomendations.

^^ It's always surprising like things that make me ashamed of being from Germany are recepted quite well in other parts of the world. How did you get to like that kind of music?

Random encounter :]
I normally (no offense meant at all) hate the German language, but in a musical form I find it appealing.
