Conjunctivitis isn't fun. Especially when your eye crusts up & you can't see.

Ya. Eyeliner and Mascare is all anyone really needs. I wear lipgloss but another gal wears bright red lipstick (same eyes). That's as uncomplicated as it gets.
Wearing full make-up is something I only do some days. Usually when going to the club or some other reason.
It is tricky though. Getting all sweaty, I want to just wipe off the sweat, but never touch your face. Go to the bathroom and just blot/pat off the excess water/oil.
As for lipstick, Mac makes a 'satin' line that has a matte in it to prevent smudging. It works fairly well. Not invinsible though and will often stay on after trying to wipe it off. Mine is "Media." Maybe I'll take a picture sometimes to demonstrate it.

Basic Make-up
Here. I did these as fast as the battery would charge.
This is eye-liner and lipgloss. Kind of well
This is the same, but with red lipstick.
This is the sad effects of very good make up.

Oh wise and favorable god and goddess of make up, this, your humble servant, asks for guidance along the path of straight and narrow...Anyways, I was wondering if any of you had some tips for me. I want to get a really really dramatic look with some eyeshadow, I found one that perfectly matches my hair. Unfortunatly I am really in the dark with make up. So, like I said, a really dramatic look that just scream "Look at my eye, Biatch!" I have purple...eye smudge or something from morbid make-up, it's one of the cheaper things I could find in this little town.

And now I have to say something, too...
I use CoverGirl Clean makeup, in Ivory. I have really fair skin, and the ivory is the only thing that matches my skin tone. If you're willing to spend more money, Shiseido has a nice variety of pale powders and such, but I've never used them, so I can't vouch for their staying power. I do know that they look great, though (I have friends who have used them).
At any rate, CoverGirl is cheap, and I use the foundation as a concealer only. Putting it everywhere is asking for acne (you get what you pay for).
As for eyeliner, I have found that Wet N' Wild makes great liquid stuff, if you're dextrous enough to use it. It doesn't rub off very easily, and if you goof up, it wipes off with a little water on a q-tip (but won't wash off in the rain). And it's cheap (I'm probably killing my skin, but I'm a tightwad). Stick eyeliner is better for under the eye, since it's stiffer and works better at the angle you have to hold it to get a good line.
The best eyeshadow looks are done with more than one shade of shadow. Blend, blend, blend. I generally use a violet color on my lid, and blend it in with a shadow that's a shade darker than my skintone on my brow.

I would love to see a picture tutorial for stick eyeliner. I'm terrible when it comes to figuring things out myself a lot of the time, could someone help me here? And what do you mean by applying to the inner/outer rim?

Umm I could try & explain a little. I think the inner rim is the bit above your eyelashes, the top side of the lower lid if you know what I mean. The outer rim is basically the lash line.
With stick eyeliner, make sure it's sharp, for definition. Sweep it along the lash line on your upper eyelids (above the lashes). form the tear duct bit, to the edge. & do the same to the lower, on the outer rim. So that they meet at the edges.
Well I tried to explain best as I could. Hope it helped.

Yeah, that helps a lot, Sin. Damn, that sounded sarcastic. But I meant it!
The outer rim is the way that makes your eyes look more defined, right?
Also, is your name inspired by the song by Nightwish?

Yup. I was a hardcore Nightwish fan. I kept the name from my other forum.
Anyways, to make up. If you eyeline the outer-rim & leave the inner-rim blank, it makes them look a little wider & yes more defined. I just hope my explainations are good, I want to be a theatre make-up artist when I'm older y'know. I enjoy doing make-up & if the Mighty Boosh ever need a make-up artsist, I'd be glad to do Noel Fielding's...*goes off into a dream*

Here are two good articles on applying Eye Makeup & Eyeliner;
Eyeliner
Eye Makeup
Here is a good diagram of all of the parts of the Eye;
Note;
Be Aware that lining the Inner Rim of your eye tends to make your eyes look smaller on most women and isn't always the best choice for contact lens wearers.
And last but not least, avoid Raccoon Eye!!
* shudder*

I never do my inner rims. In my opinion it just makes my eye's look small, crabby & it somehow highlight's the bags under my eyes. & yes avoid the deadly racoon eyes. But don't forget the whole Crow thing either.

What's the inner rim? Whenever I put eyeliner on, I just put it on the bottom.

Eyeshadow & eyeliner that reaches your eyebrows. In my opinion, it either looks like the make-up attacked you & won, or you got punched in the eye.
& the inner rim is the little bit above your eye lashes, the outer edge of the lower eyelid.
