Dangit. I saw these at Target last night, and they're cheap & adorable, but I wear XL and they don't have my size. I'm heartbroken. :*(

Lapin - those are beautiful, especially the 1st pair. I can't pull off heals that high though... I'm 5'8" and very clumsy. I mean, I've got 3" heels on my Docs but they are wide heels so that's different.

I'm a little shorter than average, so I can wear heels with little issue. Even when wearing heels, I'm rarely as tall as my friends.

I always love tall people, especially when they wear heels. They're so...statuesque and unreal.

You think so? I always feel like a giant clod - a monster of some sort when I'm wearing heels. I would love to be petit and tiny because you can't really be "cute" or "adorable" when you're 5'8".

Believe me, you don't want to be short. Especially with my face. I am "cute" and "adorable". If one more person pats me on the head and tells me so, I will stab them with my parasol.

You can trade places with me. When I was growing up I was the kid the teachers always asked to reach stuff for them, because I was taller than my teachers starting around 5th grade. It was annoying. I still get that today from friends and coworkers, "You're tall. Can you reach that?" As if I don't realise I'm tall, and like I can say "oh hell no, get a stool and do it yourself!". LOL.
