Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Sorry to say... but Frank Iero: Way too redundant... it's a style of make-up we've seen way too many times... it's losing appeal.
Gerard Way: Although he's gorgeous, he can't sing... and he looks like a female form of the Smashing Pumpkins' lead singer... with hair.
Sonny Moore: He looks like a 13 year old who hasn't hit puberty....
Back to the topic: I think make-up on guys varies. I'm not one for androgony, although it was a fascinating look. I don't want a guy who looks plastic either... it's NOT appealing. I know different guys who look good in different styles of make-up. All depends really. Experiment, play around, and find what works.

ok - 1) MCR (my chemical romance) is AWSOME - Gerard Way can too sing!
2) Gerard is HOT and every other guy in that band!!!!!!!!!!
3) personally, before i got into goth, i liked Jake Gyllenhaal (spelt right), but i think Frankie Iero is like the goth form of Jake
4) i agree with dreamforthedead - try a Gerard aproach to the make-up thing if you`re into that
but,
5) if u really want to look hot, peircings! eyebrow, lip, nose, ears! - or tattoos

I really don't understand why people are so into My Chemical Romance...all of their songs sound the same. Except Helena, I like that song.

They just said I had to do better, and when you're as hot as you are, who the fuck needs make-up?
Yeah... I'm a firm believer in that... if you're hot to begin with, don't wear make-up.

I don't think makeup will make any person any hotter. It is just a way of, making a mess on your face and calling it "style".

Exactly. One of my ex-boyfriends, I thought, was drop dead gorgeous... Until he decided to start wearing make-up. But thankfully, for everyone, he figured out early it looked like crap.

Yeah, it's a waste when a good looking guy skrews up how he looks. But there are always exceptions to that. My current lovely looks drool-over good with or with out makeup.

You should be impressing no one else but yourself. And I completely agree with the people on this board: "Do not go overboard with the chains, the rubbers, and the spikes."

If you do go overboard, it looks trashy. I hate that, when you see a bunch of spike wearing nut cases who look like they covered themsevles entirely with chains. Ick.

The only time when makeup makes you look better is if you KNOW what you're doing, aka using it to cover up eyebags, pimples, etc.
Eyeliner and mascara used to emphasize eyes but...
Few males need that.
I only needed to use concealer ONCE in my life to cover my pimples.
Mostly, for males, it's just an emphasis or style thing. That's why I don't always wear makeup. Many people love my face for what it is, makeup just styles it one way like you would wear clothes or style yourself.

Yeah, I'm a huge hypocrite. I wear make-up ALL the time, but I don't find it very attractive on guys... and some girls... C'mon people, use a mirror!

You do realise "Helena", in all its brilliance, is their most commercial song. *sigh* Love the film clip for that one, its at a fricken funeral... oh the wonderousness heeheehee... I Heart Gerard

I think that most of the commercial songs for any band kinda suck monkey turd. I mean, look at "To The End" compared to "Helena", it is obvious (in my book) to tell which one is better.

I couldn't tell it was commercial at all with all the times I've seen that music video.
