hello gothic.net

After popping in every once in a while to lurk about, I've decided it was time to sign in.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I fix computers for a medium-ish corporation. Most of the time it is figuring out which language I have to use to ask someone to reboot. My most prominent hobbies are martial arts, music, and trying to find good club type places to go.

2. Where are you from?
Northeast US. Usually somewhere between NH and MA.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Neal Stephenson. Snow Crash is my all-time favorite novel.

4. What are your favorite films?
I'm usually most entertained by the low budget/effort combination. Things like "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra", or "Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter". I can always find something new to appreciate.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Probably something by Yasunori Mitsuda.

6. At your funeral?
My unfinished music. It'll show that you don't always have as much time as you'd like.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Riddled with bullets, leaning against a brick wall in some filthy alleyway, squeezing off one last shot in the hopes of buying my friends an extra moment to get the hell out.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I think a nice stone sarcophagus, sculpted into an idealized version of myself in the prime of life would be tasteful.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Still working on building it.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Nothing. The only thing that has really changed between then and now is that I can reach all the good stuff.

11. What's your favorite band?
I'll always have a special place in my heart for Stabbing Westward.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I've finished a few associate degrees in Business and InfoTech. I'd like to pursue a nice Liberal Arts BA, or maybe finish a CompSci BS. Ultimately I'd like to get a few doctorates on my wall.

13. Why did you join?
I could use the conversation.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.

That seems to be it for now. Thank you for having me.

Hey thanks much! I'm actually getting ready to head out - found a place about an hour away from me that has club nights on Tuesday and I have a new pair of docs to break in.

Have a good one, Harry.

Hope those Doc's didn't break your ankles.

Nice to meet you and I enjoyed your introduction. Our hopes for death are very similar. Made the think about it all over again.

Hello,

Thanks for the kind words. Docs were fine, although I ended up staying in due to horrible weather. I got about twenty minutes out before hell froze over. Made it home intact, although I did a bit of off-roading at the highway exit ramp. Maybe next time.

I'm actually not too picky about the specifics of how I get snuffed, as long as I go out in a somewhat heroic fashion.]

I still think death by orgasm is the best way to go...

Anyway. Anything computer = +.
So welcome, enjoy your stay.

It's not like me to miss such a promising new creature. You are most welcome here, it's pleasant to see such standards of written English being upheld.
Oh, and if you need to break in your boots, then either wear a really thick pair of socks- like thermal walking socks- or two pairs of normal socks. This will help prevent the blisters that new boots often give you by easing the friction.

I'm kind of easing my way in, posts will follow ^_^

What with the recent pseudo holiday and general life stuff I've been a bit more on the depressed side lately. If only it was as simple a matter to meet people at one of the spooky clubs as it is here.

*edit* My hideous visage should be part of my profile. If not, we can add one more to the list of things I have done wrong this week.
