Here Lies Alyss

1. What do you do?
I'm usually online whenever I'm not in school. I have to spend most of my time awake in school, but I love being at home. I also enjoy studying for programming class, but just that.

2. Where are you from?
latitude: 14.38N, longitude: 121.0E

3. Who is your favorite author?
Frank Beddor, Edgar Allan Poe, and kudos to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland

4. What are your favorite films?
Interstella 5555, Sweeney Todd, The Animatrix, Spirited Away

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Fantasie Impromptu (Opus 66) by Chopin

6. At your funeral?
Honestly, I would like some quiet, but I suppose any song would do, I wouldn't be able to hear it anyway

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Anything that wouldn't disfigure me. Death by red sash or cup of poison would be alright. The most ideal would be death in my sleep.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
White with lots of black decorations. I want everything elegant.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Anything black and white. But if I had to pick from my closet.. Maybe a red corset top, black mini skirt, fish net stockings, black boots, and my favorite programming gloves (well I use them as programming gloves but they're really not)

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
...more alone time.

11. What's your favorite band?
Tough one.. No seriously.. I have a lot, but the most recent would be Siouxsie and the Banshees (I just realized how cool their songs are, but I also like Siouxsie as a solo artist)

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm a college sophomore taking up B.S. Information Technology.

13. Why did you join?
My friend Azure Meriden told me about this forum, and well, things got curiouser and curiouser, and here we are.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm female.

Hello, welcome.
My brother was into programming. He was really interested in it, are you any good?
Yay for Siouxie!

Your choice of wedding music is certainly the most elegant I have read, and I too love Siouxsie. I saw her last February in Anaheim. Amazing performer!
Welcome.

Thank you for the replies.

I'm a bit experienced with easy programming such as Q Basic, V Basic, Pascal, C, HTML/CSS of course, and Java. I'm taking up Java Server Pages now, and it's alright. I'm no genius, but I find solace in programming.

I haven't heard a good number of Siouxsie's songs yet, but I would very much appreciate some recommendations. I really enjoyed the music video of the song "Face to Face".

That is one of my favorites from her, but check out "Happy House", "Cities in Dust" and "Israel" too.

Hey, thanks. I really enjoyed the song Israel, but funny enough, it reminded me of some Christmas song I heard years ago. If you know some bands as great as them...

I'd have to admit I'm still exploring, and it feels good.

Fuck yeah Chopin!

For some reason seeing your choice of music at your wedding made me really happy.

Welcome!

For a slightly slower and creepier vibe, I would suggest some Switchblade Symphony. Tina Root has an awesome voice. If you like deathrock I'd say check out Cinema Strange. They're nothing like Siouxsie, but I love them too much not to reccommend them any chance I get. Thats pretty much all you'll get from me though, unless you happen to like punk as well XD
