Music Finally, an entire forum devoted to talking about Doktor Avalanche, the drum machine for the Sisters of Mercy. You can talk about other bands, or other members of that band, too, if you want to be UNCOOL.

Once again, I am out to buy new strings.

Yes, again.
I burst that bloody minor e string again when I tried to tune my guitar for Heavy Metal(I never tried that before, so meh) and I seem to have misplaced my spare set of strings, so now I found a website in Denmark who produce their own very cheap strings of excellent quality(I did not believe this to be possible, but they have been tested by a music site once and were found just as good as expensive strings, so it's worth a shot I suppose.)
Now my actual question is this:
They have a few different gauges of strings, so I was wondering what is best if I wanna play some Heavy Metal now and again, but I also want to play some "regular" or even "quiet" things from time to time, like say Stairway to Heaven and something from The Phantom of the Opera?
They have the following gauges:
Medium: 011 .014 .018 .028 .038 .048
Medium/Heavy: .011 .014 .018 .032 .042 .052
Heavy: .012 .016 .022 .032 .042 .052
I am gonna buy a bulk of these now and lock them in so I'm sure not to lose them again :P Therefore, I would like some experianced advice.

Never mind about the strings from that site, they were one of those crappy sites charging extreme shipping costs for no appearent reason other than to increase profit. I am therefore gonna buy regular strings again.
so, I would like some input on the pros and cons comparing Dean Markley light gauge and D'Addario medium gauge strings.
