Thanks. I should change the avy since I have short hair now. But I would have no clue how to make a picture so small to make it fit. Al made this avy for me. How did you do it? Help please.

Everyone has cool, fun names. I guess I should have thought of one that suites the site more...I just used the same one I always use. I even have shorts that say Medic Girl on the butt. heh.
Before I became Medic Girl I was always Paleshadeofpink.

Medicgirl is a little more creative than "joy slayer" I like it though, MedicGirl, it suites your avatar in a kinky sort of way.

Okay, my favorite names here are WolfMoon, Empty_Purple_Stars, Medic Girl, AlKilyu and Mr. Maelstrom. My favorite avatar is my own ... what's not to love?
I had a pet squirrel once. It always wanted to climb on the tallest thing in the house. Unfortunately, the tallest thing in the house (at 6 feet 4 inches) was my Dad.
In all the years I've known him he's never cared for small furry pets ... gerbils, mice, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc ... he called them all rodents. But he was more patient with that squirrel than I could ever understand. Hmmm ... I'm gonna have to ask him about that one of these days.
By the way, on the two disk special edition of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Depp version, not Wilder version) there is a documentary film on the second DVD about what they went through to train the squirrels they used in the movie. Fascinating!

Awww, someone besides me likes my name!
Fuckin'-A!!!
Eh, I feel kinda lame explaining this. My name comes from my favorite Type O Negative (TON) song Wolf Moon. The song's got a great 'spooky' vibe that I totally dig.
Just incase anyone didn't already know, er....................

Send me the pic via my email <--- and I'll resize it for ya.
What I wouldn't give to have the avatar size restrictions lifted. Especially if we could go back to linking them offsite, that way you could host your pic off of gnet and not clog their server space.

Ok, I've got one. I don't know if this person is still around, but I saw this name on a thread the other day...
Wait for it...
NightwishCobain.
A musical oxymoron so glaringly wrong it defies all notions of good taste and cultural comprehension. If Kurt hadn't died before he could see the advent of pompous goth-pop-metal, the grave-spinning would have threatened to displace the earth's center of gravity.
(And ditto on the avatar size-restrictions. The scale of the buildings in my av pic from Moscow during WWII is totally lost when you can't see the procession of veichles on the snowy streets below.)

My favorite usernames would have to be: BatteryPoison, AlKilyu, Flemco, and WeaselBoy. There are alot of others i like, these are on the top of the list.
Loathed ones? Anything with 666, the word goth and it's derivatives, and any user name Gordo decides to use this week (the Scot with the Afro living in SoCal keeps getting banned from g.net).

I'm so stupid that it took me a while to realize what Alkilyu sounds like when you say it out loud. Thanks al, I just need to take a new picture first and then I'll send it your way.

Heh thanks Tek!
I got it from the Tube Bar tapes (on CD) where they would call the cantankerous old bar owner and ask for people to be paged (Al Kilyu, Mick Ockhurts, Al Coholic, Ben DeBananna) wheren he'd yell out the names across the bar. Sometimes he'd catch on to their shenanigans and unload a stream of profanities the likes of which most have never heard. It is a thing of beauty.
Best part was when a friend of ours ( ) had his older relative call and
ask for me.
If I were low enough I could totally take that to the police and tell them she is threatening me! ^_^

It must have been before this fall, 'cause I don't remember one. That'd be an okay thread, though... I'm interested in certain people's names.
Like 'Edible Eye'- are you refering to a bunghole?

That's cause it was only a few years ago for you! Wait... me, too. Oops.
teengothlion is TEH UBERUSERNAME!
My name is irritating because I can't help but think "Circle Vee" as opposed to "Circle Five." If I, having created the name and knowing the meaning behind it, read it that way, there's no doubt that almost everyone else will as well.
A few user/character names that I've used:
Kaitan (most common of all my usernames, also the name of my main roleplaying character [no, not that kind])
Raelyn
Kheris (last name Akhaan)
Devis
Mr. White
...and the always great:
teengothlion
*sob*

I usually use jadudesi for everything. But when I signed up with g.net, I decided to branch out a little bit.

TStone always reminded me (the username) of a really big rock. I don't know why, (maybe its the "Stone" part!) but it just does.

usernames...
alkilyu - the name speaks for itself.
xnguela - it's a pretty name by itself. combine it with the person and it takes on a three-dimensional aspect of prettiness.
empty_purple_stars - a combination of sadness, selective beauty and reaching for the sky. together, the presentation is stunningly smile-inspiring - after all, let's face it, who wouldn't like to walk into a room filled with empty_purple_stars hanging from the ceiling in an astral display? again, combine it with the actual person for a three-dimensional vision of lovliness.
punkirony - very fitting name for the one who chose it. it just sounds cool to say it.
tstone - rock-solid.
ohthefuckwell - how much more "blah" can you get? the perfect response for anyone who likes to go on and on and on....
nonfatsuperjesus - it's so bizarre, it's cool.
ice - cool name and combined with the person - perfect.
battery.poison - anyone who's fiddled with a battery has feared it at one time or another. it arouses an insidious fear.
santarea - the name itself is a take-it-or-leave-it name, but when used in conjunction with the actual woman - god damn! it becomes synonomous with "goddess".
demonista_ravenesque - sounds latin-like for "black demon". i dig it.
mrmaelstrom - a fitting name for one so easily swayed to emotional thrashings. it makes me think of satan's right-hand man.
soggypicklemuncher - what's not to like?
teapotscar - concrete visual.
eyesofatragedy - sadly beautiful.
mortalitas_incomitatus - it just sounds deadly.
circle v - let's face it - an obscure reference to hell always beats a '666'.
jane13 - sounds like a robot.
juliet bathory - reminds me of a vampiress.
pathogen - where'd he go, anyway?
wolfmoon - awesome name. awesome song. awesome woman.
soul_immortal - luscious angel. i envision a seductive phantom.
dirtnap - succinct and brutal. "hey, fuckface. (lifting the pistol) you ready for a dirtnap?"
i hit the 'submit' button prematurely, so i'll have to continue at a later time.
to answer the question about my own name - no, it's not a reference to a bung hole. it comes from a story i wrote concerning post-apocalyptic humanity. meat is a rarity. finding a dead body that hasn't rotted is cause for celebration. finding a fresh one where the eyes are still moist is like winning the lottery for the eyes are considered a rare delicacy.

I like Santarea's name. It flows when you say it. I hate when I don't know how to pronounce someone's username. Like Xnguela. How the fuck do you say that anyway? You know how when you read, you say the words in your head?? When I see Xnguela, i think XNG-wayla, lol. I mostly like one/two-word names that don't have any symbols or numbers. Those are more memorable.
Wolfmoon is cool too. It's 2 words, but they go really well together. Short and sweet.
Other usernames I like:
ohthefuckwell
rockandrose
punkirony
teapotscar
Can't think of any others, although I know there are more.
