That's 'a little over perfect'?
Maybe I'm a jackass, but not by my standard.
Too be fair, though, you're not as big as I thought.

Everyone has their own standards.
I would never date her, because I don't like big boobs, but she still has a ok body. I like smaller boobs and skinnier, but I guess that's just because I am short myself.
Her man is a fucking tree, and a lot of tall guys like big boobs .
Take his boots and burn them.
People over 6 feet are not allowed to wear boots, period.

Big tits, big hips, and being pretty damn short is not helpful when it comes to making one look slim. >_>
Waist-hip ratio for white women should be about 0.7.. I have a large frame, and am not entirely white (I have a big of Native blood, which is where the big hips come from).. my waist-hip ratio is 0.78. Not bad
Edit, yes.. my man IS a tree. He actually prefers the hips over the boobs.

*that should read "bit" not "big" of Native blood.. whoops.
Well, my blood sugar is in the mid 70's. So THAT'S why I've been shaky! I'm going to go grab a bite to eat and then go to bed. 'Night, guys.
I just realized that it's almost 2am on ex-mas eve, and SANTA comes tonight! LULZ!

So your waist size should be 70% of your hip size, and is actually 78% percent of your hip size? That's a C- to a C+. Your stomach is my primary problem though.
I'm cool with big tits, as long as they result from the girl being well endowed and not the girl being chunky. At a certain point it can get unreasonable regardless, though.

As a Christmas present, you should all stop calling me Jillian and start calling me Alan.
It's always disturbed me that they're so alike and yet I get called by the former.

Gothicus:
0.7 is optimal, but 0.8 is still perfectly normal.
Found this interesting:
"What exactly is encoded in the hip ratio? A big fat clue to whether the person will have enough energy to care for offspring.
Where fat is deposited on the body is determined by sex hormones; testosterone in men and estrogen in women. If a woman produces the proper amount and mixture of estrogen, then her WHR will naturally fall into the desired range. The same goes for a male's testosterone.
People in the ideal hip-ratio range, regardless of weight, are less susceptible to disease such as cardiovascular disorders, cancer, and diabetes, studies have shown. Women in this range also have less difficulty conceiving."

You have to acknowledge that your waist hip ratio is NOT "just above perfect."
Mine is about .71.

.78 for a hip to waist is high.
I'm not trying to be a bitch, but you are clearly overweight. You're not obese, but you are overweight. Your parents are just trying to help you.

What are your waist/hip measurements, out of curiosity?
Edit: dude, wtf. I messed up my math, or totally missed the 3!
31 divided by 42 is 0.7 38
Oph still has me beat though.

At first I had .72, which was wrong.

But once again.
.73 is STILL not "just above perfect."
Even .71 is pushing being able to say that.

Healthy is below an 0.8, and regardless of whether or not I'm overweight, I'm quite content with where I'm at right now.
Edit: and I didn't say just above perfect, I said a little over. A little over and just above are different, IMO.

...you're seriously arguing semantics?
Ok, that's fine, you're still much more than "a little over."
Also, no one is talking about being healthy. We were talking about closeness to the ideal figure, which is what the .7 waist hip ratio implies.

I'm not trying to argue, nor do I WANT to argue.
Unless you measured someone, it would be hard to tell a difference between a 0.7 and a 0.73.
But honestly.. I don't want to argue with you.
My cat is a bed-hog >_<

"Ideal figure" depends on the persons opinion. Not everyone likes that body measurement on a women,
Everyone is happy with something different.
Who cares.
At least she isn't..."Beasty" looking.

Yay, my friend from the Eastern shore whom I have not seen in months , is randomly coming to visit with her mom at Walter Reed.
Heh visiting some hurt soldier shes never met before ...from talking online.
Her mom thinks my ex is a Satan worshiper because she has a trench coat and a pentacle and is Pagan.
Ooo wait till she meets me
