1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work at a gym, and I write short stories, screenplays, and movie reviews in my spare time. Hobbies: Movies, music, singing, cooking, art, collecting old VHS and LPs, and watching old TV shows. I like hanging out with friends when I have time. Also interested in martial arts, the paranormal, and astrology.

2. Where are you from?
Milwaukee

3. Who is your favorite author?
J. D. Salinger. I love the way he writes.

4. What are your favorite films?
Videodrome, Heathers, Hellraiser, Heavy Metal, Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Die Hard, The Evil Dead, Labyrinth, Phantasm, Forbidden Zone, Dragonwyck, Airplane!, Back to the Future, Child's Play, The Terminator, Ghostbusters, Return of the Jedi, The Omen, Logan's Run, Barbarella, Rope, The Fearless Vampire Killers, The Wizard of Gore, The Kentucky Fried Movie, Mad Love, Animal Crackers... I better stop there, I could write forever on the subject.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Probably a mix of songs from The Cure and another band that my hypothetical groom picks.

6. At your funeral?
Dead Can Dance

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
In a very creative, gruesome way, like something out of a horror movie. :P

8. What kind of casket would you want?
A plain old wooden casket with no lining or frills. Just nail together some pieces of wood, and throw me in. Easier for me to get out and feast on brains if I become a zombie.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Jeez, I don't know, that depends on the day... As long as it's black, contains my boots, and makes me look great, I'm happy.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I miss having friends to get in trouble with, and having the punishment being getting sent to my room where I'd get to sit and watch movies. That was more fun than a punishment.

11. What's your favorite band?
Oingo Boingo

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I have a BA in Theater, and minored in Film Studies.

13. Why did you join?
To make more friends. And possibly meet some goths who live in my city...?

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female

Greetings and welcome VideoGirl 88. You're in great company here. I can't believe you even know Barbarella ! I love that movie - camp, funny, sexy, brilliant. I also just bought a copy of Screenwriting For Dummies. I have yet to receive it (Ebay) but I've been meaning to write a screenplay for years. I'll ask you for a few tips when the time comes if I may. In the mean time. Enjoy.

Thanks, yeah, I've seen a LOT of movies. Well, mostly older movies, I don't get to see many new ones. You can totally ask me about screenplays. I just started writing a new horror script yesterday. This seems like a fun site.

Horror genre is top of my viewing list, but I prefer ghosts & hauntings, paranormal and psychological types as opposed to random slash 'em up bloodbaths lol
Also enjoy a good thriller
How about you, what's your thing?

Hello Videogirl88,

Oingo Boingo...Huh?
Doesn't it seem like Danny Elfman writes music for everything?
I'd love to have his job. (Him or John Williams)

Cure fan... Cool. I love OLD Cure, and some new.

You were asking about Goth Clubs in Milwaukee? (That was you, right?)
Well, I remember people talking about 'Club Anything', but I've since read it's under new management, and has changed. (Sorry...I'm No Help.)

Welcome, I hope you find things to your liking.

I love horror movies of any sub-genre, but I'd say that werewolves are my least favorite. I'm also a fan of comedy, action/adventure, sci-fi, noir, fantasy, martial arts, and exploitation/b-movies.

Yeah, I know of Club Anything. They do industrial nights sometimes, I've heard. I'm more interested in Goth music, and I don't know if they have any Goth nights anymore. There just isn't anything Goth in this city anymore.

You're right, Danny Elfman does a lot of work with film scores. His former band mate, Steve Bartek, works with him on them too. He's done a ton of great music. I'm mostly a fan of his work with Boingo, though. I wish they'd reunite.
