I've been loving The Big Bang Theory lately. Re-watching episodes of The Guild on youtube. Law and Order: SVU when it is on.

Downton Abbey. Its worth all the drama llama-ness just to hear Maggie Smith say "Stick that in your pipe and smoke it."

Saya, I've seen only snatches of that, but Maggie Smith totes steals the show.

Been watching Frozen Planet (my sister pulled an awesome out the bag by getting me the series for Christmas). Stoned or not, anything that has me laughing at the screen (the happy, I love that this shit exists laugher of the terminal nerd rather than "Man fall down.. funny" laughter) and yelling "You see that? Didja see that? That orca pod TOTALLY NAILED that ice floe!!", is good shit as far as I'm concerned.

"Harlock: Space Pirate"

Interesting to see one of my favorite anime characters in CGI for the first time. Not sure how I feel about some of the character redesigns. But I'm hopeful it's worthy of Leiji Matsumoto's vision.

Been watching a lot of 'Archer' lately.

I think I just like Bitchy Women..?

What television series are you watching at the moment?

Nothing at the moment, I'm busy typing this. :P But, today I watched Saturday Night Live, The Simpsons, and Family Guy.

Why do you watch them, and what do you think of them? Would you recommend them to others?

That's what I normally watch on the weekends. Sure, I would.

Do you have a 'guilty pleasure' show that you watch?

The Fairly OddParents... Don't tell anyone.

I showed my five year old son the film Hugo last week and this week we watched Edward Scissorhands - he loved both but Hugo won out because it was a little less scary. Hugo is based on an excellent book, The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick. The film is brilliant too - beautifully directed by Martin Scorsese. Apart from these, I've been watching the new, 6 part X-Files.

It's inspiration for when I retire from society completely.
