What is the perfect form of Government
You know theres been some discussion about communism being bad or not so bad. I have to say that lately I've been really disenchanted with capitalism as it just seems like in the end the government is up for sale. But I dont think I'd be happy in a communist country either. Its something perplexes me as I really wonder if its even possible to have perfect government or even a great one. I cant come up with anything that I think would be any better then whats out there now and it just seems like there should be something better.
Any thoughts?

I have a thought.
Why don't you back off of the "Create New Thread" button.

Cool the only new Thread I'll make is when I release my next song. I'll put that in the "Music" section and it'll be titled "A new MD release" that way I can just anounce new songs in the same thread. I think thats fair as my musics free, you do have a music section, and some people might like it.
Later I enjoyed talking to you guys
But me thinks I've warn out my welcome.
Cheers

The most perfect form of government is no government.
Ethical Anarchy is where people are able to govern themselves with killing, stealing, r****g, ect...

A system of government, Socialism is not. Therefore, it is not synonymous with Communism.
I don't see how people cannot make that distinction, yet it happens continuously. People immediately associate one with the other. Anyway... I do not believe in a perfect system of government. I will never believe in a perfect system of government. I also do not believe that democracy is a good form of government.
In democracy, the populace is called upon to decide who will lead them, but when the majority does not take part, it is no longer majority rule.
The only perfect government is the omniscient, omni-benevolent dictatorship.

The best form of goverment is Anarchy. Real Anarchy.
But people would have to be perfectly ethical to livei n such a place. It would be a society of philosophers.
Another form of government that interests me, and AI government. Something like in Evangelion
Three computers, implanted with human personality, three different personalities, and vote in majority as to what would be better for the city.
I think that's the only form of government that hasn't been tried yet.

Too bad true anarchy does not exist. Anarchy is exactly what communism is... Good on paper, and that's about it.
Besides, no form of government is good if there are corrupt people running it.

There are different forms of government which fulfill different social needs in different places at different times. Frank Herbert suggested that over a supremely huge distance, Feudalism was quite frankly better than Democracy. The United States uses a partied Republic while telling people it's a Democracy, and it seems to work pretty swimmingly in the postmodern world. One wonders if technology will allow a true Democracy to exist - right now it's too much of a logistical nightmare, since it'd result in an insanely bloated bureaucracy. Maybe that's the ultimate job creation move...

Oh, I'd just like to point out that I was posting against anarchy. It's not a valid form of government. People need organization. We can't handle anything without it.

Socialist Republic. 'Nuff said.
Any questions? Please read up on Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland.
And before anyone points out all those nations has, or had, a monarchy, today, they are all socialist republics as far as government goes.
