Should only apply to newly born and unweaned bats (Mammalia - Chiroptera)

Cute I guess? Not hugely necessary?

There are so many different ways to judge "newness" or levels of sophistication within a subculture that it's kind of meaningless.

How about you use it in a sentence? I've got one:
"You're such a baby bat, that I'm gonna feed you milk, cuz I'm da momma bat."

And here's another, that is never said, but always inferred:
"I'm so much cooler than you, that I'm just gonna call you a baby bat."

And here's one that could be used in answer to the other one:
"Hey, dude, or dudette, let the baby bat be, don'tcha know that that kind of attitude kinda detracts from your own coolness?"

...

What baby bat signifies is really silly.
But without the word, we probably wouldn't have Adora BatBrat, and she's pretty awesome. But then again, maybe she'd just have a cooler name then, and would be even more awesome.

...

It's the silence here, I tell you! This forum is so empty that it drives a goat insane!
