Did I get that right you are "West Indian American"? How does your family cope with your life style choice? If you would like to share, if not disregard.

Yes I am and I don't mind answering.
It took a lot of getting used to, I'm the only one of my 4 sisters to be like this. My sisters all love it, they think it's fun to get me dressed up and take pictures with them, cause we're all so different. My dad only knew about the stereotypes and in the beginning was very upset. Sometimes I think he still can't take it, especially as he finds out more and more exactly what I'm into. My mom was more open minded and actually went shopping with me and talked with me about what it meant to be "Gothic". She still helps me pick out outfits and only rarely jokes that I need to put some other colors in my wardrobe. I was always different and she knew it so I guess it was easier for her to adjust. And she realized that I was more comfortable and happier so she relaxed herself and she's even gotten all dressed up with me. I think her biggest problem is my hair, she hates when I put colors in it.
I'm sorry, I don't mean it in the sense of you being male, ape descendant explained it perfectly. I just love the word and when I get excited I tend to over use it.
Breathless Horror the really funny thing is I'm not a stoner, never have been.
