The 'Goth Point' Game

Here's a 'crappy' game I thought I could add to the list.
The game goes like this:
First a person writes down an action, for example, 'feeding the ravens'
The next poster gives them a certain number of goth points for it, i.e '50 goth points'
They then write down an action, and so on and so forth.

I'll start:

Buying a new pair of Doc Martens

Well, everybody does it, so I'd give it a base of 5 goth points.

But add 5 extra for:

- Consumption
- Exsanguination
- Wasting away from a broken heart
- Being struck by falling masonry from an ancient tomb while wandering a romantically overgrown cemetery at the dead of night

Oh, and add an extra 10 points if, after all that, you still have a fascinatingly pretty corpse.

Frightening small children...

I'll give you 10 points for that...

Actually, small children aren't usually scared by the way people dress and look. It's only as children grow up to be adults that people not fitting in to the social norm tend to alarm them.
If you mean frightening children just for the sake of making them suffer, then I don't think that's in any way goth, just horrid.

nil points

Living in an old pile built out of great granite blocks up on the wild moors with lightning flashing through the midnight sky and a huge log fire burning in the hearth of a massive floor to ceiling fire-place...

Ha. ha. ha. 50 goth points, and I'm being generous.
What about frighteningly melodramatic emo points?

Draining willing victims of blood at odd hours of the night under the full moon in a cemetary.

Don't worry. I drink blood-flavored dust too. *smile* Just add water, right?

Ooh, I see, multiple postings.
Heh, my 50 goth points were for the one above you, Wizard . . . I'd give you more than that. Especially for some dust.

Depends on what you define as gothic. With the infinite possibilities, you could win from 0 to 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 000000000 points.

Owning five black cats, three ravens, two crows and a large plague rat.

12 goth points! (I'm trying to cut back, I always give way too many away).
*wavers*
Okay, 120!

Being non-conformist as fuck! With combat boots and lace-up gloves!
And a dead rat on one's shoulder.

Hmmmm... 30 points, I think. But I'm in no way generous.

Being secretly married to Edgar Allan Poe. Despite the 200 year age difference. And the fact that he's dead.

42.75 points. I'm afraid you lost some marks there for keeping it secret, because we're all party animals and wanted to be invited to the dead wedding.

Having a scene party at which evangelists knock on the door and even though you invite them in, they take one look at you and run away...

hmm....28.5 points. Did you invite the evangelists so you could scare them off?

Being Peter Murphy's best friend.

Between 0 and 1000000 goth points; you don't have to be goth at all to be somebody's best friend.

Polishing your nails to black (and therefore looking as if somebody closed the door over your fingers).

5 Goth points.
Some of my friends do that... admittedly with pink spots over the top, but hey, we go to a school with a farm, so that changes nothing (or something... I might shut up now)

Baking a cake and putting black icing on it.

I'll give that 35 goth points. I'd give it more but I think it depends on the design or for what it's for. I remember having a birthday cake that was black, but it still wasn't very "gothic-looking".

What about having a Crayola set.... filled with black crayons?

I'd give that 10 points. No dear, I'm not in a generous mood today.

What if your first words ever were 'Bela Lugosi's Dead'?

1000 points. Minus 900 because you haven't been around in a while.

Check your emails. I think you'll be recieving something soon.

A wedding cake with black icing?
