It's more gory than scary.

It's enjoyable. I don't really think it was fair for the Texas Chainsaw remake to come along and attempt to steal it's thunder.
I give it a 7. I'm not going to go out of my way to buy or rent, but if it was on somewhere I'd drop on the couch and watch, and not complain about it afterwards.
It was an interesting tribute to the slasher flick.

Not scary at all but very enjoyable and twisted.
If you want scary yet similar I'd recommend you get Devil's Rejects first. It was much more disturbing for it's believability.

I saw Devilīs Rejects just a few hours ago for the first time, actually. I loved it. I will get House of 1000 Corpses as soon as possible; Iīm very curious about it. I love Rob Zombieīs style.

It's similar. Just more zaney and over the top.
By the way. All fans if Zombie's music should check this out. It came out today.

Devil's Rejects is hilarious. Overall, far better than 1, 000 Corpses.

I found House of 1000 Corpses Hilarious. I saw it as more of a gory comedy than a horror film. It's done like a B-movie, so that always rates highly in my eyes.

I was like, "this should be heaps scary".
It's a disappointment in that sense haha.
It was an alright movie, not bad I'd say.
What's the original TCM like compared to the remake?

I fell asleep during this movie.
A bunch of people shake their heads at me because I do not like House of 1000 Corpses and I do not like Devil's Rejects. If you all want to do it too, so be it, but I just do not like them.
