Invader Zim is utterly ace. It reminds me of those programmes that used to be on when I were but a lad.
<Puts on Yorkshire accent>
Ey, back when I were a young'un, I 'ad them cartoons tha' twere silly and the like. All the kidlin's an' t' paren's'd 'njoy 'em.
<Stops accent>
Um. Yes. Everyone liked Animaniacs. It was silly. Stupid. Hilarious. Earthworm Jim; mad. Weird. Tom and Jerry; if you don't like Tom and Jerry, you don't have a soul and you can go and stand in a corner.
Invader Zim is stupid and strange and slightly dark and utterly brilliant.
Love it.
One of the best things, should you get it on DVD is the commentary.
"Wasn't this episode coloured when we had all the red?"
"Oh yeah."
"You should explain that."
"Well, Jhonen doesn't like sunshine and happiness, so he spent half our budget on this red plexiglass stuff and put it over all the windows. It made the place look like some sort of post-apocalyptic wasteground."
"I hate Hobo 13."
"No!"
"What?!"
"Are you joking?"
"Why don't you like it?"
"I just hate it."
"There. That person there died."
"Another one, just there. Look. Dead."
"Dead."
"So many deaths that we couldn't actually show because it was a cartoon."
"Look. Another one."

I love Invader Zim. I was really sad when they stopped showing it on TV. *sighs* I wish they'd show that again.

I love the litte tacos, I love them goood. Hehe, Gir! Anyways, Jhonen Vasquez, is a god amoung men, and if you disagree, I will fight you. I got started with him in the JtHM series. Those comics were sheer brillance, expecially the last couple two. When Nny goes to heaven and causes a massive explodie-head war, hehe. Anyways, ya, invader zim kicks some ass aswell. So to summerize a long post in one sentance, I concur.

His comics, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and Squee!,among others, are very insightful. They create an involving storyline while stilll keeping things humorous. I especially love Anne Gwish (the gothlike girl). Invader Zim, however, is just a pure wacky fun show. I can't imagine why Nickelodeon asked Jhonen to start a cartoon for them. I mean, the only things he had made at the time were those "violent" comics of his.

I love all of Jhonen's work, and that includes invader zim. Dib is my favorite character out of everyone in the show. You guys should check out my Youtube Profile. I have every Invader Zim episode uploaded.

I've always hated Zim because I blamed him for Nick not showing Doug anymore... I've got to blame someone..

Invader Zim is great. No matter how many times I see it, it still makes me laugh. Definitely one of my favorite cartoons.

Invader Zim is one of the best cartoons ever. End of story. Haha, every weeknight at 10 and 10:30 I watch Zim on the Nicktoons channel before getting ready for bed. I love it!
