Yeah, the first one of those gave me all the headaches I want out of a video game. I solved all the puzzles (I'm quite capable of that), but it had all the excitement of filling out a tax form. If not for the occasional surprise in the plot, and my irrational desire to finish the game in spite of my complaints, I'd have dropped it like a hot potato fairly quickly.

So you can keep the sequels. I'm happily pursuing what I believe is the best DS game ever, "Dragon Quest IX - Sentinels Of The Starry Skies", which plays like an actual video game.

If I never see Professor Layton again, it'll be too soon.
