I guess i should be more descriptive since this this has happened twice now.
In short, here is what i meant:
A lot of what i hear is that she's "original, has original style, talented, etc." When all i was pointing out is that, she's not, and in my opinion i think people should get over it. Anyone with Autotune can become a "talented" pop star.
If you'd like to argue opinions more keep on, I'll be more than happy to express my views.

Gaga was an accomplished song writer well before she became a pop star in her own right. That alone sets her apart from other performers.

I get what Lutia-X is saying. I would say the whole thing Gaga is doing is pretty formulaic. Manson has done this very thing. Is she being "oh so anti-christ"? Nah. But her execution is the same and technically I think it's better executed this time around BECAUSE more people can relate to what she's doing and not just silly Mansonite kids. Paparazzi is a good example of this. That song sounds alright for a moment until the end where it's revealed to be more horrifying than glamorous.
She's still not original though. So the claims that people are making about her being original are quite plainly false, which is what Lutia is saying. She didn't say the girl wasn't talented.

I think that a large part of Lady Gaga's style is intentional doting throwback to the 80s, and any of her fans that don't pick up on it either haven't looked very hard or are pretty stupid.

To quell any confusion, I was speaking more on her music, fashion, and execution of her public image and celeb status as a whole, not just what clothes she wears.
Fashion - Unoriginal
Music - Unoriginal AND formulaic
Total execution of celeb status - Unoriginal. Manson did it first and others before him

Yep, I agree with Kontan on this. You may not like Manson's music, and I'm not a fan, but the guy has demonstrated tremendous musical performance, songwriting and production talent.
