one of the best book series for tween goths

Vampire Kisses By Ellen Schreiber. This has to be one of my favortie series. I cant stand Twilight, its so drmamatized, and half those girls that like it wouldnt know what to do in the presence of a real vampire. Anyways, enough ranting about that, Check out Vampire Kisses. Its fun, sweet, and all over fang-tastic!

There is no such thing as a real vampire. To add to that, vampires are just fucking folklore and stories, so really, you can make them any way you want. Sparkling however, was a tad ridiculous. Anyways, the problem with Twilight wasn't that it was over dramatic or that it didn't follow the popular vision of a vampire, but that Bella was a whiny bitch that was fucking worthless as a person. Seriously, woman the fuck up and kick ass.

Totally misogynistic. And poorly written. Saya knows a good blog that picks it apart.

But I've read Blood and Chocolate, so I really can't say anything.

Vampire Kisses is a good vampire book for tweens - only a few kisses in it, and not a lot of overly sexual stuff. Plus the books can be read quite quickly, although towards the end of the 6th book (the one where they have a party outside Alexander's house) there was a few errors in the writing.

But the series has dragged on far enough and Ellen needs to finish it off before she starts writing books like: Vampire Kisses: Raven and Alexander go to the supermarket (then spend 200 pages saying how hard it is to get Alexander away from the meat department).

thats jut my opinion on the book. I found it refreshing to read a book in this generation that wasnt overly dramatic and full of retarded shit. As,for the vampires not being real, I believe in psychic vampires and sangs, but i believe its a rareity. <-- i know i spelled that wrong. But i respect your opinion

I'm really disgruntled that I can't translate my amusement to text. Oh, to be 16 again!
