That's ironic, I myself was shocked rather painfully a few hours ago, by an exposed wire near the top of the light for my aquarium (there's no way it can get submerged, so don't worry). I need to cover it with duct tape, since it's the second time it's gotten me.

I was once shocked by an electric fence too, and they give quite a jolt! I was about 10 when it happened. Hopefully no little kids were hurt by the one that got you.

I'm not hurt, it wasn't a massively dangerous voltage ( seeing as I am still alive ) and it jolted me to the core, but the fence was overgrown with bushes, and the little plastic things on top of the posts that show a wire to be elctrified, were covered in foliage, so naturally I didn't see them, and there were NO SIGNS!

What worried me was that a lot of people had parked cars next to this fence to get out of the sun and have a rest, with their dogs and small children. I'm a full grown adult and a majorly hefty one at that, so to me the shock wasn't too bad, but if a kid reaches up and grabs that wire, or if a dog jumps up, there could be some damage done !

I would have complained to someone but the officials had gone by that point . It's bloody dangerous! I'm pretty certain that there should be signs up by law .
Dear Lord! I am glad you are ok! Maybe you can still tell someone? It may save someone's life.

Today I found out that my soon-to-be step-brother is my friend's dope dealer. Since last Friday my world has been getting smaller and smaller. Everybody knows everybody else, and I realized that I know a lot more people than I thought I did. Shit.

All I want is peace, quiet, and my fiance by my side. But, alas, my grandmother wanted all the females in the family to come to a "special luncheon." And she forgot I don't eat red meat or poultry (besides chicken) again.

I keep sitting with one foot under me. And then my foot falls excruciatingly asleep. Then I do it again. I never learn.

Kristin -- I recently acquired a shitload of old watches. You had said your daughter was getting into steampunk, and I thought I'd let you know first that I was going to sell them. Let me know if you're interested.

I do! I have been mulling over the idea of making myself an omelette for about three hours now. I wouldn't mind an omelette in return for sexual favours!

Korinna, sorry I just saw this. Sometimes gnet doesn't mark a thread as having anything new in it, even if it does. Does this happen to anyone else?

Anyway, if you still have them after we get paid in a couple of weeks, I'd be interested! Got any pictures?

I just got a job!

Not exactly the most thrilling job in the world, but it pays and keeps me busy.

My hair is a chemically smelling bleachy mess right now. It'll be totally worth it though when my hair is completely stripped off the black and becomes a nice, "natural" red.
Also, you guys are lucky. I have applied to 7 places so far and no dice. I shoulda stayed at Superfresh but that place fucking sucked.
The hilarious thing is, when I worked there I had no time to do anything fun. Now I have lots of time and no money to do anything

I just got pictures up, and I would be fine with letting you put as many as you'd like "on hold"

I want pictures of the hair, 'teccy!

Korinna, motor mounts aren't too bad of a job. What kind of car does Justin have? Usually on newer cars it's two bolts and bammo, good as new, depends on the motor and the car though. Anywho, my birthday is in 6 days, the big 18!! I'm excited. Work sucked today, I helped Mike put in new bearings and brakes on a trailer and we were busy all night long. But it was pay day, so I'm happy now!!

Yay! Where do you have the pics? I'll show them to Lia and she can tell me her favorites.

Jeep Cherokee, I think..
He had to buy a right angle drill bit for it, but his dad still refuses to do the labor - it was supposed to be a Christmas present.
