Umm, did the Misfits record the song "Ballroom Blitz"? I have a copy of one from ol' Limey' that says it's from the Misfits, but I'm not certain. It's a good song, anyway.

the Ramones - Let's Go

Last thing I listened to was Cocteau Twins. Can't remember what song, I fell asleep and went through 20 songs before I woke up. Damn narcotic ambient music! (but I love it so)

I`ll ask a friend who might know, but `Ballroom Blitz` was originally recorded by `The Sweet` in the 1970`s. I remember Nuclear Assault did a cover of this song on the `Out of Order` album. But I`ll find out for you !!!.

Hmmm ... no biggy or anything - but I just downloaded something that claimed to be The Cure doing Tainted Love (extended) - and it's actually the 12'' release of Tainted Love by Soft Cell which incorporates a verse of the B side 'Where did Our Love Go' ...... was actually one of the first (if not the actual first) recordings to mix two songs together.

Does it not sound more like Marc Almond singing than Robert Smith? ... not wanting to argue or anything - I'm just perplexed because I'm a huge fan of Soft Cell AND The Cure, and can't understand why I can find no mention of this Cure version of Tainted Love.

Cool

Metallica `Crash Course in Brain Surgery` !!!!.

This E.P has probably one of the best guitar sounds Metallica have down on vinyl (the producer for the $5.98 EP, was a `Country` music proucer, and had never worked with a metal band, hence the unique production) it is so heavy and powerful (well we are talking of thrashmeisters Hetfield and Hammett) !!!.

Rammstein - "Wo Bist Du"

I recommend the album Rosenrot to anyone who enjoys listening to Rammstein. Though it has a few songs not quite up to their standard, "Wo Bist Du" and "Hilf Mir" are truly amazing pieces of music.

That's an original? How odd it's on the Garage Inc. album, which is all covers.

"It's More Fun to Compute" by Kraftwerk

go figure... written before the Internet was invented by Al Gore, who knew that one day it would be "more fun to compute".
