Wow...my very own introduction thread!
Since I have come back to the board, and have never answered these questions, I thought that I
would share.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work with the developmentally disabled. Basically all I do help three women in their house. I
cook their meals and help them when they need it. I am usually bored there so I watch a lot of tv
and read a lot of books. I like to make mix cds, read, and play bass when I am not lazy.
2. Where are you from?
I am originally from San Francisco. I have also lived all over the East Bay there, Portland(OR),
Washington DC, and in a little town on the Oregon coast. I now live in a city in the Pacific
Northwest.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. I think the character St. Germain is a sexy beast. I also love Poe, the
Brontes, Thackeray, Dickens, Nancy A. Collins, George A. A. Martin, early Stephen King,
Lord Byron, and a bunch of others that I can’t think of at the moment.
4. What are your favorite films?
Amadeus, Taste The Blood Of Dracula, The Vampire Lovers, Clockwork Orange, Lord Of The
Rings trilogy, etc... I love Hammer Studio films and think that Christopher Lee rocks.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Something classical.
6. At your funeral?
Mozart’s Requem Mass
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Peacefully.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
I want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered illegally in Mountain View Cemetery in
Oakland California.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Pajamas.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Not having to pay for anything.
11. What's your favorite band?
My favorite bands are The Misfits(Glenn Only), Christian Death, Mozart, Cream, Black Flag,
PiL, and many more. I listen to goth, punk, early rap, classical, hippy music and post punk.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I am going back to school for the first time in sixteen years next year. I have finally decided that I
want to be a teacher. Year it took me till the age of thirty-five to figure that out.
13. Why did you join?
To meet like minded people. The usual answer.
Sorry that this is formatted kind of strangely, but I did this on WordPerfect.

Uhhhhh....
I think you have very good taste in most everything. I also like your no-bullshit attitude that I have seen.
Welcome back to the show.

Welcome back, babe!
Don't worry about taking so long to choose a career path. At least you know it's what you really want to do.

In the computer game Everquest 2 Christopher Lee actually plays a god! His character's statue speaks when you worship him. HA!

horrorgirl, nice intro. I really like your respect for things classical.
I think Christopher Lee is a god too. Of course, I thought that of Vincent Price once. It will be a sad day indeed when he passes.
Glad to see the mention of George R. R. Martin. I've enjoyed your postings before, so this isn't so much a welcome as a salute and an encouragement to carry on.

When Lee dies it will indeed be a sad day. I will have to have a two day movie marathon in his honor when he dies. My boyfriend likes your avatar by the way.

All Hammer films? Hmmm ... that could be good to do now.
Tell your boyfriend thank you. I'm not big on staring at pictures of myself, so I always pick pictures that interest me. The current avatar is one of a series I made featuring this pretty, well-endowed woman as she shows off her charms. I'm cycling through them every couple of days as it amuses me.
I'm glad he likes it, as long as he likes you more. I'm sure he's a smart man (he must be; he's attracted to you) so this is a no brainer!

One of, I think, the most admirable goals in life - not that it needs to institutionalized to be admirable, since everyone here teaches everyone else, and hopefully learns, but, like me, maybe you can convince people to pay you for it!
What are you going to teach, and to which age bracket?

I would like to teach history to high school students. I am going to be one of those type of teachers that throws people out of their class for bullying others. I am going to be one mean mofo! ;-)
