Cool The Gene Generation

http://www.myspace.com/genegeneration

Absolutely wonderful cyberpunk film. I've got to say it is my favorite movie as of yet. I was happy I got to see the private screening a while ago, as it barely found a distributor a couple of days ago(Traction Media).

I don't want to spoil it, so be on the look out for it anytime soon. I'll probably bug you all about it when it does become officially released. I've got to say though, Parry Shen is a marvelous actor and stole the show.

And Pearry Reginald Teo is a great director, friendly as well, I'm happy to see his talent is being recognized a more.

Was anyone else keeping track of this movie back when it was still in production?

Also, if you look at the myspace page, scroll down and see who is featured on the sound track (VNV Nation, Combichrist, Scott Glasgow, oh my!)

Yeah. Pearry gets all these crazy ideas all the time, but they are AWESOME. He's right up there next to Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg for me. He's a big WoW addict though..maybe that helps. I IM him yesterday and he goes, "I'm playing WoW" >.>

It's an independent film btw, so lots of things are done via SFX, but overall I love it!

It will be out in theatres once it does get out there. It still counts as being in "Post-production." And I know it will also be out on DVD for you to buy. He said they had to tone down a few things for QC(quality control) But he might just put out a secret bootleg directors cut, xD

I don't know if he's still going with that idea though.

So, short answer, not out yet, but I will say when I find out.

I remember it looking interesting back when Combichrist was promoting it. I had actually forgotten about it until now. I'll watch it, and most likely think it looks outstanding but not be particularly fond of the acting or story.

Anyways , THREAD NECROMANCE ATTACK GO

This movie is now out, but not on DVD yet, and is only in limited release really(in theaters) Check it out if you can though, it'd be worth it.

US release I'm guessing? I hope it actually makes it's way here.
