Re-intro..

A certain person, namely my fiancee, has been bothering me to come on to Gnet more often. In otherwords, I'm not new, but as it seems to be the tradition on here, I suppose I need to post an intro.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I live. Other than that I am a writer, a musician, and a practicing Chaote, among many things.

2. Where are you from?
Arvada, Colorado. However, I was born in SD, California.

3. Who is your favorite author?
James Joyce

4. What are your favorite films?
Anything with Humphrey Bogart.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I just want music. I'll probably play a lot of it myself.

6. At your funeral?
Virtually none. I'd prefer the sounds of nature.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Death is an illusion.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I don't want a casket. I'd like to be pushed out on a body of water and my boat lit on fire. May sound weird, but that's what I want.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Whatever I'm wearing at the time.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Being able to just live, though I'm doing my best to maintain that philosophy.

11. What's your favorite band?
Whatever I'm listening to at the time.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Some high school, but dropped out at the end of my Junior year, and I'm mostly self-taught.

13. Why did you join?
Peer pressure. Lol.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Male.

Welcome! I like your casket answer. That would be quite the exit.

Re: 11. - What are you listening to now?

Right now, Ziggy Marley.

Also, that particular way of "exiting" is very natural and has strong images of balance.

Oh, and before anyone says anything foolish, as it seems to have been the norm in the past, I do indeed listen to Goth rock, and plenty of it. However, it's just music, and don't expect me to get into any arguments over it.

Hah, I feel almost as though this is aimed directly at me, I think I've learnt my lesson though.

Welcome, hope you like it here.

Oh happy days with much joy and biscuits.

Does everyone feel a warm fuzzing feeling blossoming in them? A swelling of the love muscle?

Now i'm in a Laughy/Happy-Face mood

Nice to meet you!

Welcome back and whatnot. Don't think we ever spoke much, but if you're korinna's fellow you must be allright. I've never heard as much as a single word against you.
As for the boat thing, the UK goffs did that years ago for one of our own. A replica viking longship was built and the poor fellow's ashes placed in it, then set alight and sent drifting out from Whitby bay. Unfortunately, the boat was built a little too well and it took a while for it to actually catch. There was a celebration afterwards, a proper wake with drinking and shared memories and stories.
Better than a box in the soil, wouldn't you say?
