As this thread's title suggests, I live in Hawaii. Actually, I live about a hundred miles offshore at superexit 138 on the Trans-Pacific Highway, where I work at a Starbucks. Hawaii's gotten a lot more touristy since they finished the Highway, since the Islands are the only pieces of land it stops on between Washington and Japan. It's pretty much the hugest tourist trap imaginable.

I live on a part of the T.P.H. where there are tons of whales. The clever jack who masterminded this part of the Road named it Whalesee. Sometimes it's hard to sleep; those beasts can bellow some leviathan songs.
