Um, so I don't completely go off topic...

Another song I always end up singing to is God Save The Queen by the inimitable Sex Pistols :-D

I have that damn song from Kill Bill vol. 1 stuck in my head. 5,6,7,8's "Woo-Hoo", which has also been in countless commercials. Also, D4L's "Laffy Taffy" and Mike Jones' "Back Then"

"Whoop That Trick" by D-Jay [from the movie soundtrack "Hustle & Flow"]. More Dirty South Rap chest-beating, I know, but it's hella catchy.

<3`s Deviant Kitten,

Sisters of Mercy Rawk!.

My sig comes from the Lyrics of the best British thrash metal band ever, Sabbat.
The song is `Horned is the Hunter` from the classic album `History of a Time to Come`.

I posted the full lyrics in the favourite lyrics thread, if you want to read them.

As for info on Sabbat click here

If you love metal download one of their songs of their websites

<3's Beowulf too!

I've just got my friend and her boyf listening to the Sisters - I made them a compilation CD and now they're addicted! I love sharing music with friends *grin*

I do love metal so I'm going to go and download some Sabbat songs. I'll come back later and let you know what I think :-)

Are there any other Sabbat websites with downloadable songs? I've been looking but I haven't had any luck yet!

These past few days I've been listening to a lot of Depeche Mode while driving. The "Music for the Masses" album, specifically. So I've been singing that, since I know most of the lyrics quite well. Usually when I sing along to something, I like to do the harmony vocals, if there are any. If not, I sometimes make them up, if possible.

That being said, there's nothing I "can't resist" singing along to. If I'm in the right frame of mind for a special lyric, or my voice is in particularly good shape, I will, but I won't ruin a good listening experience by idly croaking along with a singer way outside my range, for instance. Also, I hate it when people try to sing stuff I have a special affinity for, such as Antony and the Johnsons, and (inevitably) fail miserably.

Woohoo! It worked! :-)
Hey, Cradle of Filth covered "For Those Who Died" a couple of years ago - I didn't realise the original was by Sabbat! They totally rock, I love 80's thrash *grin* I'm going to have to add a Sabbat album to my (ridiculously long) Amazon wishlist now! Thanks Beowulf :-)
