Psychotica

I first discovered Pat Briggs in a 90's LGB movie called All Over Me. Come to find out he was in this kickass band called Psychotica. It is kinda hard to find there albums, and I suspect most of you fags don'ts even dig it.

Thanks! That was rather nice, actually. Will require some searching and some listening!

Interesting to listen to, but not really Bowie-ish. That comparison made to Bowie fans is bound to disappoint.

Edit: After listening to 6-7 songs I can see where the singer is trying to simulate the affectations Bowie sometimes did with his voice, but it's not really that close.

It's alright.

Nothing anyone does will ever be good enough for a fanatical Bowie fan.

I'm not really a fanatical Bowie fan. I am suggesting that I'm a more objective listener than those who are comparing Pat Briggs' singing to David Bowie's singing. It's just not really that close. If you like him, that's fine. Just leave off the comparison ... it's not accurate or reasonably fair.

By way of comparison, this guy sounds much more Bowie-ish than Briggs.

Nobody is arguing that Briggs sounds more like Bowie than the next guy. Just that the comparison has been made, and by no one here, but elsewhere (probably originated from Briggs himself).

So you got shit to say. Cause you could have left my original statement stand and it would have meant the same thing.
