Hello!
You know, I like you already. Gibson and Wilde (Do you like Heinlein as well?), Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Rozz Williams, Sisters of Mercy, and a potentially very interesting taste in films.
You must suggest some films for me.

Quantum Physics eh? Quite a study indeed.
Good taste in music. I worship Oscar Wilde. That's another plus.
The only thing I disagree on is Pan's Labrynth. I hate that film.

Good taste in music, you will likely be very welcome here.
I love the way you want to die and the casket is very interesting.

Thank you. Not too familiar with Heinlein but what I have read I enjoyed. Back to music; I like a lot more than I listed including different genres and such, those are just my favorites. For the films, what do you generally like? My suggestions are usaully based upon that sort of thing.

Thanks, it's good to feel welcomed. However, re-reading my original post, I realized how many ridiculous spelling errors I had. Whoops! I Feel kind of silly for an introduction which includes horrid spelling mistakes and wretched grammar.
Sorry.

True, it COULD have had more magical head bity-ness, but I still enjoyed it. Especially the music.

I loved Pan's Labyrinth... However, Looks like Del Toro will use that imagery for the new Hellboy movie, which looks more promising for the "head bityness."

That's if you like Hellboy in the first place.

Neuromancer, and the Difference Engine. Yes I know that the later had little or no real substance, but it was still an enjoyable read.

I think I was the only fellow going in to the movie knowing it was about WWII, and as such was one of few who loved it.
Sorry you didn't like it, though.
Now maybe I missed it, but what would your favorite movie/movies happen to be? Just out of curiosity.

Oh, now I simply love you!
Not only was your intro remarkably well written given the usual quality of new meat, but you even had the decency to apologise for a few little slips!
Have you read Pattern Recognition yet? It really struck me, I must say. One of the most recent works, I believe.
As for films... I'll confess to being a Tim Burton fan. I like ridiculously OTT horror films from back in the days of Hammer, I like science fiction, and I have a strong aversion to action films where all the money was spent on explosions (Pitch Black, fine. Serenity, fine. Die Hard? Not so much), RomComs- except Shaun of the Dead- and crude Teen Comedy.
So something like Metropolis is delicious.

I'm glad to feel loved, especially for "new meat."
As for Pattern Recognition, It's next on the list. To be honest I have only read a few of Gibson’s' books, but thoroughly loved what I had read. However, you sound an awful lot like me. This happens to be amusing and frightening in one good shot. Therefore, I would suggest an old classic (one of my favorites) The Seventh Seal. If you have not seen it, you really should; the film is an amazing achievement. However, I must tell you that it is widely considered "weird."

Snow Crash? That's Neal Stephenson, not Gibson.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Gosh........ I feel so illiterate..... Can I claim vodka and a long work day as my excuse?

To compensate, I make a mean vodka martini; I'd be willing to share.

Back to the Gibson; "Mona Lisa Overdrive". I have tried to read "Pattern Recognition" several times; I need a long vacation to do so so I can focus on it.

One last thing in case anyone was wondering.
The reason why I had any sort of spelling errors in the first place is because I have just purchased a laptop, and I did not have any sort of spell check on it until now. Thus, there will be no more obvious mistakes.
