From my viewpoint, some advantages of being 40+ years old are:
- If one still have brain, it tends to be consequent. Otherwise, probably one is in rehab and/or has some mental illness.
- To scare he/she off is a harder task than if he/she was in their 20s.
- To smile (and even laugh) at/with/on some things spoken in forums are way easier than in 20s, even when one is being criticized (not your case... that didn't happen to me here yet).
- To be a noob somewhere is welcomed, because almost everyone considers one as "old" but not "smart" at all lol. Some kind of frustrated asshole, in the end. Not my case, fortunately.

There are some disadvantages as well, but I will not treat that topic in this thread.

So... thank you Wolf

Your friend is right... the second your pasty ass hits that tanning bed you have to turn in your fishnets and finger armor. If you fail to do so, the gothschtapo well be on your doorstep to apprehend you and strip you of rank and insignia for appearing out of uniform. There is no hiding, our eyes are everywhere.

I think there's something here. Someone needs to flesh this idea out.

Call it "The Goth Diary of Anne Frank."

What kind of terrifying leeches have you been playing with?

Mine appear black when unfed, and only have visible spots in the month or so after they eat. They've certainly never turned green.

It is consumption. Not TB. I'm a n00b and even I know that. Now if you will excuse me I have to drink absinthe and write terrible poetry.

Consumption and tuberculosis are the same thing. The word "consumption" was used before they had tests and treatments for tuberculosis, and referred to the way the disease seemed to slowly consume those who contracted it.
