What is the BEST blue black hairdye?

I've used everything, and lately my old standby dyes seem to be rinsing out very quickly. I've used nice n easy for 15 years (on and off) and they seem to have changed the formula. I tried bigen, but that rinsed out very badly.
I don't go into the sun, use good products on my hair with uv protection etc. I just want a good blue black that lasts more than a few washes.
recently i tried jet black by ion, and it left my roots auburn after a few washes. terrible! (it wasn't blue black either)
Garnier blue black 100% color rinsed out too.

Yesterday I tired revlon high dimension color which i love the color of.. i'll let you know if it rinses out though.

What do you suggest? I'm ready to start putting manic panic over the top weekly. I just want a good permanent dye that sticks to blonde hair.

Suggestions?

I always use Schwarzkopf Brilliance, which I find excellent. Itīs a permanent dye that at least made my hair look amazing. I used their blue black for more than a year, which is the longest commitment Iīve made to any hair colour in years.

Miss Clairol in Black Azure/Velvet! I thought all you old timers knew that!

But I kid...She won't tell a soul about your natural color and guard it with her shade. Pinky swear. You'll have to use developer but not a lot.

Personally I love Revlon Colorsilk, I have not personally used their blue black (thought their reds seem to be the only ones that stick in my hair) but my old roommie loved it, plus it is pretty inexpensive.

I've used that before, when I was living in Germany. It's a really good dye, and I liked the fact that it didn't smell really strong like some hair dye.

Sometimes I have to use some Manic Panic to give my current blue/black a punch, but you do what you have to do, you know?

I always buy a yearīs supply of the dye when going to Germany during summer holidays, so yeah.

Itīs good, itīs cheap, and it doesnīt wear on the hair as much as most brands Iīve tried.

Anyway, last night I discovered one more asset (in my opinion) with this colour - in certain lightings like at the club the blue starts showing so strongly that it looks like a bright blue dye instead of a black one. I think thatīs cool. Apparently, so did a lot of other people who came to me afterwards and gave me compliments.

I like feria's starry night. It has faded a little in the two weeks since I have done it, but the blue shade is still there.

I used Feria's starry night to pop my black hair cherry and it looked blue black on me but only because I did it over blonde hair, then it faded to brown within a week.

*rubs temples*

It didn't fade to brown on YOU. Whoop-de-fuckin-do. But on ME it faded to brown in certain parts of my hair the first time I dyed it.

I'm not going to argue this any longer.
