My name is Hunter and I have been "Goth" for a few years now, I decided to join this charming internet forum because where I live there aren't any other Goths that I know of...and I felt like a little socialization would be fun.
So without further a due, I will introduce myself!
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I am still in high school (sadly, a conservative hellhole Catholic school)
2. Where are you from?
I am from Iowa City Iowa
3. Who is your favorite author?
There are so many great authors Right?
some of my favorites are R.A Salvatore, J.R.R. Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Bram Stoker(I bet everyone puts him), Walt Whitman, Anthony Burgess, Charles Baudelaire, Edgar Allan Poe, The Bronte sisters...just to name a few.
4. What are your favorite films?
I am a big Jim Henson fan and am in love with his movies the Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal, i really love The Crow, SLC Punk...just to name a few
I do have to admit I have quite a soft side for Tim Burton movies like Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow, and Sweeny Todd, though.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I want a Variety of dark wave, old school Goth rock, EBM, and death rock...the works.
6. At your funeral?
I don’t think I’ll care because I'll be dead
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to be impaled on somebody’s awesome liberty spikes.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
A really cool one with lace and spikes.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I like it simple, black pants and a black long sleeve shirt. With some spikes and chains...the works.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
People forgive you for shit because you might not know better...even if you do.
11. What's your favorite band?
So many!
I do have to say that Rozz Williams was probably the sexiest man that ever lived though! So I obviously love Rozz era Christian death. I also like Bella Morte, Psyclon Nine, Switchblade Symphony, The Misfits, Emperor, Clan of Xymox, Specimen, Alien Sex Fiend, etc.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Don’t know yet
13. Why did you join?
Because Goth is the coolest and I love everyone who is Goth. Ever since I was a wee child in the mall on a Saturday night I was mystified by the romanticism of the Goth people and all that is dark and mysterious.
