DMMG (DisAssociation Music & Media Group), was founded in 1998, from the remanants at the time of the previous Cyrkel Spynn Fanzine and Dark & Wise Recordings (tape distro label).
Cyrkel Spynn Fanzine orignally ran from 1995 to 1997, as a cut-and-paste style DIY printed fanzine... CS Fanzine was the first ever fanzine of it's kind genrically... CS fanzine was the World's first ever Pagan Music fanzine, the fanzine also had a focus on Gothic music and culture... in 1998 CS fanzine officially called it a day... and DMMG was formed as a music management & promotions label.
In 2005, DMMG decided to reform several of it's previous labels these included.
Cyrkel Spynn Publications (publishers of Cyrkel Spynn fanzine).
Altar-Ego Music (music publishers founded in 1999 as an off-shoot to the AEM Records label which split in 2002).
Dark & Wise Recordings (founded in 1997, but refounded as a proper compilation CD label rather than the previous tape distro label).
DMMG Management & Promotions. (the original concept of the founding of DMMG was as a management and promotions label, with the label running for several years between 1998 and 2004, the label reformed in 2006).
Also were founded in 2006 two new subsiduary labels within the DMMG company, namely:
DMMG Records (UK).
