Heya, baby-bots,
The blog has been renamed.
Goodbye "The Blog Function Rediscovered",
welcome "Weird Navigator"!
Something must be afoot here...
...
SPOILER ALERT
The following may contain SPOILERS about THE TERROR:
In other news, or random rambles, I've been watching AMC's The Terror. It's a really good show. A pure-blooded gothic tale about an expedition to the arctic where everything goes awry. And there's also a demonic bear.
About six or so episodes in, and I am absolutely loving it. Although no one involved in making the show has ever been exposed to any sort of cold, methinks -- for the land of ultimate ice and snow looks laughably plastic. Any of the rest of the sets, such as the ship's interiors, or the theaters and gentlemen's clubs or whatever, look delightful though.
The acting is superb (ignoring the fact that they never really look like they're cold...) and the story is absolutely thrilling. I cannot recall ever having seen an expedition as thoroughly doomed as this one!
In the last episodes, they've started showing too much of the bear in the last episodes, computer generated ugly bear, it was better when they didn't show it.
A bit of a sausage fest it is though. Could certainly do with more lady-characters.
I'd give it ten stars regardless of any downfalls, it's such a pretty show. Reminds me of the good qualities of Penny Dreadful.
Ha. Silly post this is, I can't even be bothered with adhering to any sort of coherence or editing, but I wanted to post something, anything, really, so, I just winged it...
It's been so long...
But something is coming... Soon... Very soon... And it hurts, oh, god, it hurts so much...
