Is there anybody coming?
Am I here all alone?
I think I hear someone running.
Is that something in the corner?
Is that something really there?
I feel as though that something
Just came out of my nightmare.
If I turn out all the lights,
I would be here in the dark.
Seeing everything in nothing
Would have fear leave its mark.
But if I do start screaming,
They will throw away the key.
And in that padded cell
Will be all my fears and me.
