This article goes into the sad fact, that even though there are plenty of Dr's willing to preform abortion services for women, they end up comming to the uneasy realization that there are a lot of hospitals, clinics and practices that forbid it.

The fact is, if a woman is determined she will find a way the problem is without it being offered often it comes down to unsafe methods.

The article should have said it's a woman's right not their needs. Abortion is a touchy issue but the bottom line is it is something that is often the only option. Especially in the case of ****, would they really want to force a woman to carry her rapists baby for 9 months? That's just torture.

By not allowing it simply you'd be putting that woman in a position where she'd have to take it into her own hands.

I've seen girls take just many birth control pills, but some would even get it done illegally then.

Not to mention the depression it could cause a woman to have something inside her that she has no choice but to carry. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it ended in suicide.

If these doctors have that training the option should be offered, screw politics.

Where there is a will, there is a way, whatever method or measures it takes. A woman does not choose to have a mishap when carrying a child, a woman does not choose to be *****, so who are "they" to deny options for alternative methods?

Yeah, the bottom line is pretty much that women have the right to choose wether to keep a baby or not.. it cannot really be taken away. Because there is always a way, there are always alternatives, but many of them are dangerous and can cause permanent harm to the woman.

That is why the legality of abortion is so damned important. To keep women from dying in back alleys, leaving the children they may already have orphaned and their life partners widowed.

Politically I have nothing against abortion, personally it's the same.

I see it as the right of a woman to do as she see's fit.

But there is the moral question that will tug at them both before the fact and after the fact, even more so for instances where there was no criminal act forced on them.

The bottom line is that it's a decision that carries with it a toll.
