Thought I would introduce myself to the group

I play harps.
I don't call myself a harpist, I have no formal qualifications. I do it my way, from the heart, or by ear.

I have 2 harps, made of carbon fibre.
They have 27 nylon strings, diatonic tuned from long low e through to a top short high C
The 4 red strings are the C's, the 4 blue strings are the F's.
No sharpening levers so I am limited in what I can play... stuck in the key of c lol but I get by, almost 2 hours of songs in my playlist.

I have played in pubs and restaurants, at parties and for a few weddings now.

Love to play anything I like from Cindy Lauper to Eva Cassidy and U2.

When I first started playing the harp, I found it difficult to maintain a consistent tempo, especially when transitioning between strings. What really helped me was practicing with a metronome. This forced me to maintain a steady rhythm and gradually improved my accuracy.

This has made a significant difference in the quality of my harp playing.
