It was good but all of the deaths felt a bit off to me, not as much attention was paid as was in the books so you don't get the same level of emotion.

Yeah, she swoops at a deatheater to protect Harry, takes a hit, and falls out of the sky. You don't see Headwig hit the ground and they don't really say that she is dead but she doesn't show up after that (actually they don't really mention her at all after that).
